Youth clubs
In European countries tug-of-war remains a sport activity. Many athletic and gymnastic clubs still have the tug-of-war sport on the their programme. In youth activities the sport is on the programme of various annual sport events. In The Hague, Netherlands the roman-catholic patronaat organizes annual sport events where the tug-of-war is the major sport on the programme.
